I so agree !! That's why I'm so glad the click-clack-click-clack of my knitting needles is back !! I finished a sweater a few months ago, and have been waiting for my back-ordered new yarn to arrive before starting my next project. But, it's here & I'm knitting again . . . and all feels right with the world !!!
I am in need of some help, though. The above-mentioned book contains a cute little blurb about naming each of your knitting projects . . . "name it and tame it," so the saying goes ! So, if I'm making a sweater with this beautiful new lilac yarn . . . what should I name it ?!?!???? Suggest away !!!

Okay, my powers of naming feel a bit weak tonight, but what about "Northern Lights"?
Or "Lavender Fields"?
Or maybe "Ralph." That's a good name.
I am waxing a bit poetic this morning
going more for the personal rather than the project (and Ralph, while more personal seems just a little bit too manly for that soft and lovely shade). How about Lillander or Lillandress- all the L's make it feel a little Welsh yet it brings up color front and center. It looks to be a beautiful sweater.
I still say "Grape Ape."
Grape Ape is even more ridiculous than Ralph! :) I vote for one of Heidi's names.
