Moving Toward Polygamy . . .

. . . with my knitting, that is !!!

During the first meeting of my knitting class at the Folk School, the instructor had us share a bit about ourselves and our knitting, including whether we were monogamous or polygamous knitters. My knitting has always been about monogamy: I always stick with one project until it's finished, and then I move on to the next ! But after really losing steam on the Castle Hill cardigan (working on the 2nd sleeve !), I feel myself heading toward knitting polygamy . . . !

After gazing at this scene from my kitchen window . . .

. . . I've been craving a soft, chunky turtleneck the color of fall leaves . . .

. . . and today I found the perfect yarn !!

Now, do I put my nose to the grindstone and finish that cardigan asap . . .
or do I tease myself, and start knitting a gauge swatch with my new yarn ?!?!
Ah, the knitter's dilemma !!!

Oh, you should start the new one! Maybe you'll love it so much you'll finish it quickly & be inspired to finish the other one? I want to see them both!
