Tea for Two

I spent yesterday afternoon in Buffalo with my mom, having tea at the lovely Asa Ransom House . . . a B & B, restaurant, gift shop and tea room:

The owner's beautiful yellow lab, George, was

waiting for us just inside the front door:

The entire place was beautiful . . .

. . we took a self-guided tour through all of the rooms . .

. . . and outside, too, where all of the flower beds had been put to rest for the winter . . . then inside to tea in "the snug" (the little corner dining we had all to ourselves !) . . .

The perfect weather for tea and treats,

in a beautiful place . . .
